Before the release of “Passion”, his highly anticipated second solo album after 2006’s “Epiphanie”, Para wanted to give you a first taste of what his sophomore effort sounded like. “Lean On Me” features the immense Teki Latex on the vocoder, singing a sweet and lovely tale of tender desire. The track is warm, futuristic 2-step with round, bouncy surfaces and a classic dramatic Para One break, like a massive raincloud, which is blown out shortly afterwards by an irresistible “Red Hot Car”-like percussive sequence. It all ends with an angular, trebley and heavily processed synth solo. This is a what one could call a crushed-out song. Both fun and deep, clubby and brainy, like most of Para’s best work.
